NFL Conference Playoffs 2010

Ok, so with my Patriots out of the hunt, I solemnly make my picks.  Heh, not really solemnly, because NFL is too awesome for that.  Anyways, the Vikings take on the Saints for the NFC, while the Jets take on the Colts for the AFC.  Here’s my analysis and picks:

Both the Vikes and Saints looked great in their respective blowout victories, and I have a feeling no blowout will be present here.  The Saints have an extremely powerful pass attack, but are average in both.  The Vikes have a great D and AP.  Oh, and they have “I’m not gonna retire” Favre.  D tends to win playoff games, and I doubt the Saints can hold AP and Favre to under 25 points, because I ‘m sure the Vikes can do so to Brees and co.  So…Vikes 30, Saints 20.

The Colts were expected to be here with Manning and the 1-2 Freeney-Mathis D-line punch, but how bout them Jets?  Yes, the J-E-T-S jets jets jets.  Who would of thought they would be the ones challanging the Colts for the AFC title?  Yeah, they have Revis Island, where Reggie Wayne will be stranded this game, but really?  Anyways, the Colts have redemption for their prefect season ruined at the hands of their pathetic 2nd-string offense against the Jets coming, but the Jets have redemption for their overall irrelivance for the past decade.  Will Mark Sanchez shine, or show his true colors as a rookie?  Will Manning show HIS true colors and choke?  I may seem like a maniac, especially as a Pats fan, but… Jets 20 Colts 14.

R.I.P. The Rev

Well, it has been a while since I have been posting, as I was temporarily unable to log on to my profile.  But now I’m back!  Anyways, 2009 ended with dreadful thud in many hearts as Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan passed away.  Many know him as the drummer/backing vocalist for the awesome band Avenged Sevenfold.  I personally feel this death is much more painful to me than any other in 2009 (yes, including M-Jack and Billy Mays).

Oh, yeah, and happy new year!  Hopefully 2010 doesn’t suck.

Ok, so basically all C.C.C. activity will happen here now, not on their self-titled website.  If anyone would like to take control of that site and regulate C.C.C. activity there instead, then tell me, because I am doing this because I don’t want to update like 10 websites at once.

Sports Intro

Ok, another catagory that may pop up in here is sports.  Now, this isn’t ESPN, so don’t be all expecting this site to tell you week-by-week scores of the NFL or give you daily tips for fantasy baseball.  However, there will be talk and analysis on special events such as NCAAF Bowl Season, Superbowl, World Cup, March Madness, and much, much more.

Music Introduction

Some posts here will deal with music, as in new CD’s coming up for release and if I ever get around to it, maybe Mental Cyanide’s very own Andy Cyanide will produce some original music, which will always be posted here if ever released publically (ie, youtube, facebook).  But for now, the only music updates will be for Cd releases, because eve if I do create music, I am still just starting self-teaching myself vocals, which may take a very, very long time.
